They will not bring down a fever. But there is more than one thing that needs mending on a farm, and a story read out loud at the end of a long day is one of the older remedies there is.

Twice, because a colouring book gets used up. Small hands tear a page, or colour the same picture three times over, or leave it out in the rain. When that happens you print it again — you have already paid for it.

The free pages are made for A4 — ordinary printer paper. The drawing fills almost the whole sheet, so there is plenty of room to colour.
In the print box, choose “Actual size” or 100%. Not “Fit to page” — that shrinks everything and leaves a white border all the way round.
The Silver Seed and its colouring books are printed A5, which is an A4 sheet folded in half — small enough for a child to hold. Maya’s storybook is A5 too; her colouring books are full A4, so the drawings are as big as the paper.
